Hiring the Community Space

As well as our regular events, the hall can be booked for

private events such as celebrations, cultural festivals,

meetings, children's parties, other social gatherings etc.

RULES

Due to the location of the York Rise Social Club and it being surrounded by residents 2 members of our committee will be on site during any hire to monitor the use of hire we will ask you to sign a hire agreement which you must abide by and we reserve the right to ask you and your guests to leave if there is any breech in our rules.

All music must be completely turned off by 11.00 pm and all guests vacated by 11.30 pm.
There is to be no more than 65 people in the hall at one time.
No drinks are to be taken outside after 6pm. We ask that your guests respect the no smoking rule and this applies to vaping. If you or your guest need to smoke we ask you to please stand in our designated smoking area and keep the noise down especially after the hours of 6pm.
When leaving we ask you to respect our residents and leave quickly and quietly as not to disturb them.
All children must be accompanied by an adult
Booking dates are secured by payment of a deposit.
All bookings must be paid in full and contract of hire signed to gain access.
The deposit will be refunded after 7 days provided the contract of hire is adherd to.
