YORK RISE SOCIAL CLUB
York Rise Social Club, York Rise, London, NW5 1DX

About the community space
The Community Space was the home of the York Rise Social Club, a members' club for tenants that became the lively hub of the social life of York Rise estate. Established in 1969 on the ground floor of Winifrede Paul House, it has been the venue for many children's parties, celebrations, meetings and social get-togethers. The room was named after Jim Faulkner, the estate caretaker in the 1970's.
In 2015, its 46th year, the committee recognised a need to bring the club up to date. The room has been refurbished with a new kitchen/Bar area and is now a great asset to York Rise tenants/ friends and family. The room is available to hire, subject to the event you wish to host, and we welcome enquiries from all local families and businesses.

Since then the committee has used this space to host a series of events from ladies nights to children's Halloween parties, to make a mark on the community and bring back the community spirit.
